Why we started the Van Tine Foundation

Why we started the Van Tine Foundation

In a little over a year, I lost both of my brothers. Brian and Eric were different men with different gifts — but the same heart, and the same love of music that ran through our family for as long as I can remember.

This foundation is how we keep going. We chose four causes — one for the work Brian gave his life to, one for the families I see every day in my own field, one for what Eric carried, and one for the music that belonged to all three of us. We hold them as equals.

Everything we build here honors my brothers first.

If it also helps another family, then their memory is doing exactly what they would have wanted.

Thank you for standing with us.

— Matthew Van Tine · Founder & President
